before I get to the report I want to wish a happy belated birthday to my beloved Kayt ^_^ hope you had a good one hon and got everything you wanted! hope to see you soon! *hugs and kisses*
This years AN was one of the biggest and best for more reasons than I can possibly name but, here are a few of my personal highlights from the show!
- A fan cosplayed as my character Zo! yep, and she didn't even know I was going to be there so it was a surprise for us both I only wish I had my camera with me when she showed up :(
- I'm going to be on Ed The Sock's Night party! yep, now not only can my friend Tom say he's been on Ed but, so can I as he co-hosted with me Mecha Yard Wars on Sunday and we did a bit of a skit for the show where we judge his robot but, walk away disgusted. very, very funny stuff it should be on in a few weeks according to the producer!
- my pocket TPB's sold like hotcakes! both Changes & Alena's Tank Patrol Super Shoujo Special sold half their stock while at Anime North 2008 and HentaiZine # 1 sold out completely! this tells me that indeed the single issue market is dead as our single issue books aside from Zo, Elves with Mecha & shadow Paw didn't sell too well compared to our pocket books.
-did some more ask Kermit stuff with Fans asking Kermit their questions, expect to see that later this week on youtube once I get my voice back from my annual after con cold....
all and all another great year even with the lack of sleep!
